The annual Festival of Scholars took place on April 24, 2012 at California Lutheran University. Twenty-one graduate groups were invited to attend and present a poster. Two groups from the California Institute of Finance had the honor of being invited with Dr. Valeria Makarova as their faculty mentor and sponsor.

We are proud to announce that the presentation by Robert Ham and Dena Yebernetsky (Colin Castagnola was unable to attend) won an award forExemplary in the Category of Originality for their project. The focus of their plan was on retirement plans for employees of non-profit institutions.
Randy Renk (Thuy Houng Le and Steven Zaiderman were unable to attend) presented their poster entitled D’Artagnan Enterprises: The Marketing Plan which focused on a marketing plan for a for-profit business. Each of the twenty one presentations were of high quality and very thought provoking.
